Your teeth are covered by protective enamel, a substance that is stronger than skeletal bone. With the passage of time, normal wear and tear, and the effects of chronic habits (like chewing fingernails and grinding teeth), your enamel can become damaged. The crown may be secured on the top part of the tooth that is above the gumline, and it may be an appropriate option for big cosmetic cases – such as completely reshaping a tooth. Additionally, veneers are only suitable for addressing cosmetic concerns. So, your teeth must be healthy. We will evaluate your concerns and the condition of your teeth and gums to determine if you are a good candidate for veneers.

If you move forward with this procedure, a very small amount of natural enamel is buffed off of the teeth that are to be treated with veneers. This preparation is essential; your veneers must have space to properly fit on top of the natural tooth. Once this step has been completed, we can prepare or design the veneers. Once we have made your permanent veneers, they are fixed securely to the teeth using advanced bonding techniques and agents.
